Our Industry Involvement

Our active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is a two-way street. Obviously, it exposes us to a greater base of potential customers. However, it also enables us to act in the altruistic sense that is in our nature. So, we support organizations financially, enabling them to meet their goals and directives. We also participate in organizational leadership or committee membership, thereby lending our expertise.

Our current corporate affiliations include these organizations:
The U.S Green Building Council
The USGBC is a non-profit community of leaders interested in green building, that is, creating environmentally sustainable facilities for residential, commercial, and institutional use. We first joined the USGBC in 2004 and since the organization is celebrating its 15th year, we’ve participated in a full one-third of its history.

KMC is a founding member of BI and we participated in its predecessor organization as well.

BTL Labroatories BTL is the BACnet Testing Laboratory--an independent arm of the BACnet International. It was created to provide product testing and a listing program for products that have BACnet capability.
