Our active participation in industry organizations and related initiatives is a two-way street. Obviously, it exposes us to a greater base of potential customers. However, it also enables us to act in the altruistic sense that is in our nature. So, we support organizations financially, enabling them to meet their goals and directives. We also participate in organizational leadership or committee membership, thereby lending our expertise.
Our current corporate affiliations include these organizations:

BACnet is an open communications protocol developed by ASHRAE, the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating, and Air-conditioning Engineers. BACnet International is an organization that encourages the successful use of BACnet® in building automation and control systems through interoperability testing educational programs, and promotional activities. KMC is a founding member of BI and we participated in its predecessor organization as well.
BTL is the BACnet Testing Laboratory--an independent arm of the BACnet International. It was created to provide product testing and a listing program for products that have BACnet capability.
Products which survive the rigors of BTL testing become “listed.” Manufacturers can use the BTL logo only for listed products.
